Who can remain indifferent to a Three years stay in Lagos, Nigeria?
The most difficult thing to be forgotten is without any doubt the omnipresence of poverty from which children are the first sufferers.
I was fortunate to meet Sister Lourdes in her orphanage in Lagos. You can only be lost in admiration for her and her team working and fighting every day for their orphanage to live!!!
With few resources Sister Lourdes with her sisters do so much for their orphanage. They could make so much more for the kids thanks to your little help.
Sister Lourdes and her orphanage is not an isolate case in Nigeria. Many associations struggle every day to help kids against poverty with more or less resources.
Back to Europe, it is difficult to forget all those children. I think that it is important to try to help them despite the distance. That is why we created Don’t Forget with our hearts, skills, and humility.
Supporting medical or educational projects from operational associations appears to us the best solution to get fast and effective results and to minimize the operating costs.
We have faithful contacts in Lagos which allow us to follow out our projects and to select trustful new ones in Nigeria. Soon we will be ready to support other associations helping kids in other developing countries.
